I love the setting and atmosphere of this. Who is the narrator? A spy? Someone caught up in international intrigue? A mercenary? And who is it they are so determined to return to? An ally? Or perhaps a beloved enemy - someone who betrayed them, or whom they betrayed, or who was always on the other side, but they still return to in the end? Or someone they work for, despite the personal cost?

Princess/Duchess (Dawn in Naples - SNH48 (Music Video))
I’m here for all the intrigue and again the setting (feel free to go wild with a mash-up of Neapolitan and Chinese court history, with whatever else you feel like throwing in there). What is the princess’s dark side - something that takes her over, something she summoned, a side of herself she used to repress, or a side of herself that’s always been there? Does the duchess just want power, or believe taking it is in Naples’ best interests, or is her duty to her family or to the other nobles, or is she worried about what is happening to the princess? Is it all UST and power struggles between them, or competitive, conflicted hatesex, or was there are a happier period they’re pretending to each other hasn’t come to an end?

Crime Boss/Right Hand Man or Woman/Undercover Cop
Is the crime boss a magnificent bastard, or a conflicted man who can’t quite give up his position despite having moral qualms? Is his right hand a quietly spoken but deadly adviser, or a dangerously unhinged but unfailingly loyal fighter? I was rather imagining the undercover cop as an admirable, honourable type who is finds themselves being seduced into a very different life.
Dissipated Aristocrat/Original Supernatural Creature(s)
Well, when you’ve already tried everything you can think of with people, what else is there? Does he run into something supernatural by accident, maybe not even realising at first what it is? Is there one supernatural creature he builds a relationship with, or does he find himself constantly running into new creatures. (For this prompt, I’d prefer if the aristocrat is definitely into the creature/s, rather than non-conned (although sex pollen type situations are fine)).

The fox appears in many of Rayyan’s works, and what a dashing, untrustworthy adventurer he seems to be. I want to know all about his adventures. Whether Anna Katenina, dissatisfied and bored, eating goldfish like chocolates, thinks he might rescue her from her dull, pampered life, or he’s matching wits with the marmalade tom from Cat with Fiddle, who is as competent, cunning and predatory as the he is himself, or he's entertaining the wealthy, self-confidently vulgar crow, or seducing a hound dog unconvincingly disguised as a lady, or running into the dissolute, scruffy, scrappy Puss in Boots, I’m sure I’ll love it. (They can be literal animals, or people who have the stereotypical traits of the animals.)

I saw this in Yuletide and remembered Francis was always my favourite. I’d love to see him with Louis - were they involved because he suspected him all along, or did he only realise subsequently? Alternatively, an OC, whether someone who suits him and isn’t a french agent, or someone else he’s fundamentally lying to (or several someones).
